7/21/25UPDATE...... I am currently waiting for further information from the City and BIRD to determine if they can collaborate to address some issues the City has. My BIRD representative informed me that the City requires the BIRD scooters to be removed by July 31, 2025. I have taken the scooters off the street until further notice, possibly indefinitely.
Hi, Dustin here. The current Fleet Manager of BIRD Scooters for the Poplar Bluff Area. If you have been following our Facebook page, you are aware that the Fleet is in a state of disrepair. I am actively seeking to source new parts and the necessary tools to make the repairs. Our Truck broke down this week and we are working on getting that fixed up as well.
This was not something we planned on. I saw that the town was going to lose a mode of transportation and I stepped in to try and stop that from happening. This is out of my pocket. So time and patience is going to be needed while we navigate the re-issuance of the Fleet around town.
