This is the General Policy Page. Here, we outline important topics such as Returns, Repair Agreements, Use Agreements, and necessary legal requirements. These policies protect both you, the customer, and us, the business.

RETURN POLICY 

We will only accept Returns on UNOPENED/USED Products at the Owner's discretion.

Most products we sell in the Hobby industry can break and crash. You are notified of this at purchase. We always provide verbal information about batteries, best practices, and what to avoid. Customers should research or ask questions about what they are buying. Each manufacturer has FAQs online or can be reached by phone or email through their customer support teams.

Replacement parts for any Hobby Grade Vehicle, Drone, or similar product are available in the shop or by order. We stock only repairable products. When you purchase, we clearly state whether the item is Hobby Grade or Toy Grade, what to expect, and if we can assist you after your purchase.

Custom Orders

We will try our best to get you the dream product you want. We represent a wide variety of brands across both the RC and General Retail spaces, and we are always expanding.

Custom Orders for products not typically stocked have a 50% PAYMENT DUE on the day of order!

We had gone ahead and ordered with no down payment required in the past and were burned way too many times, stuck with a product custom-ordered for one person's tastes. Unfortunately, other people have ruined this for eveyone else. We hope you understand.

Terms are set on the day of the down payment for when the product (s) must be paid off. If the customer does not honor the agreed-upon terms, then the product may be listed for sale. When the item sells (if it sells), the original person who made the down payment will be issued Store Credit equal to the original down payment, to be used in the store. 

If, for whatever reason, the order cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond Rebels Hobby and Games' control. The Customer will be contacted and offered a product similar to the one ordered or a refund option only after Rebels Hobby and Games is reimbursed by the manufacturer or another B2B partner.

The owner of Rebels Hobby and Games has the sole discretion, at any time, to supersede these Policies and make other arrangements with the Customer.

REPAIRS

Purpose

This policy outlines the terms, procedures, and expectations for repair services provided by Rebels Hobby and Games.

Accepted Repairs

- RC vehicles and electronics

- Model trains

- Slot cars

- Drones

- Hobby-grade batteries and chargers

- Miniatures and gaming accessories

- Plastic and resin model kits

Repair Intake Process

Customers must complete a repair intake form before service begins.

Diagnostic and Labor Fees

- Basic inspection: $15–$25

- Advanced diagnostics: $25–$50

- Standard repair labor rate: $35 per hour

Repair Estimates

Customers will receive an estimate before major repairs begin.

Repair Authorization

No repair work beyond diagnostics will begin until the customer approves the estimate.

Turnaround Time

Repair times vary depending on complexity, parts availability, and workload.

Parts and Replacement Components

OEM, aftermarket, or tested used parts may be used when appropriate.

Warranty on Repairs

- Labor warranty: 30 days

- Warranty excludes misuse, water damage, or customer modifications

Items

 

We May Refuse to Repair

- Unsafe items

- Counterfeit products

- Heavily modified electronics

- Items beyond economical repair

Abandoned Repairs

Items left unpaid or unclaimed for more than 14 days after customer notification may be considered abandoned.

Customer Responsibilities

- Provide accurate contact information

- Remove hazardous materials when possible

- Pick up completed repairs promptly

Liability Limitations

- Rebels Hobby and Games is not responsible for pre-existing damage.

- Additional or unforeseen damage may occur during repairs, especially involving electronics or micro-electronics.

- Data loss and cosmetic imperfections during disassembly are not covered.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion. Repairs will not be released until payment is received in full.

Battery and Electronics Safety

- Swollen or unsafe batteries may not be returned.

- Unsafe electronics may be disposed of for safety reasons.

Manufacturer Warranty Repairs

Customers may be referred to the manufacturer for warranty-covered items.

Policy Changes

Rebels Hobby and Games reserves the right to modify or update these policies at any time without notice.

Customer Acknowledgment

By submitting an item for repair, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this policy.

The owner of Rebels Hobby and Games has the sole discretion, at any time, to supersede these Policies and make other arrangements with the Customer.
